Room in a shared flat

Just outside the city of Zürich, already on Dübendorf soil, our spacious shared apartment is located in Zwicky Süd of the Kraftwerk 1 Genossenschaft. Stettbach station can be reached in approx. 10 minutes on foot or 4 minutes by bicycle.

The main apartment comprises 187 m² and has 4 bedrooms (15–20 m²) as well as 3 bathrooms. Additionally, two satellite clusters belong to the shared apartment, each with 2 rooms (approx. 20–25 m²), its own bathroom, and a small kitchenette.

A special highlight is the light-flooded, spacious living and dining room with an open kitchen and its own library, thanks to floor-to-ceiling windows.

In the Zwicky-Areal, a sports, music, and community room with a kitchen is available for shared use, in which parties and celebrations can be organized free of charge. The area is car-free, no parking spaces are available.
Currently, a 24 m² large room is vacant.
Costs

• Room rent: 687 CHF / month (incl. service charges)
• WG monthly contribution: 70 CHF / month per person (electricity, internet, insurance, radio/TV etc.)
• Spirit contribution of the Genossenschaft: dependent on income and assets, approx. 15–60 CHF / month

Share capital Genossenschaft
One-time 16’000 CHF per room. The share capital is repaid with very good interest upon moving out.
A reduction of the share capital or the rent is possible upon application with the Genossenschaft. The share capital can also be financed via the pension fund.

Marina (25) studies medicine, works part-time in the hospital, and is active in the volunteer fire department – both with great passion.

Alex (30) and Lena (25) live together in the second cluster. They enjoy traveling, going out for a drink in the evening, or going to festivals in the summer.

Timon (23)
Works as a caregiver for people with disabilities. In his free time, he likes going to the climbing hall or hanging out with friends.

Jan (27)
Works as an engineer in the aerospace sector. On weekends, he likes to go hiking in the mountains, cycling, or gliding.

Aurelia (33)
Is currently taking a break and enjoys cycling in her free time.

Zeya and Motchi (both 2 years old) are two sweet, sociable British Shorthair cats.
