At the foot of the Simplon Pass lies the beautiful city of Brig. It was named Alpine City of the Year in 2008. This is not without reason, as it is situated in the midst of a wonderful mountain world that surrounds it. In addition, the hub of the Spitalzentrum Oberwallis is being developed in Brig.
