Room in a shared flat

General: We have been allowed to inhabit the beautiful rectory in Bolligen as a shared flat for 2 years now. One of our loyal roommates is getting married and moving out at the end of July. Now we are looking for an upright person to complete our colorful group again from early August or earlier by arrangement. About the great house: The beautiful, 16th-century house is located in the heart of Bolligen with shopping facilities and a bus stop nearby. In about a quarter of an hour you are in Bern. The house has a lot of charm, whether because of the simple wall paintings, the massive sandstone walls or the open fireplace, where you can spend cozy hours in winter. About 10 years ago, everything was renovated, which means that the kitchen and bathrooms are modernly equipped. The partially very large rooms are spread over 3 floors and offer single rooms for 7 people, as well as 3 rooms that could be used communally. In addition, the various attic areas offer a lot of storage space. Not to forget is the large garden with a grill area and vegetable beds or the creative/workroom. About your room It is located in the attic with a grandiose view of the Bernese Alps. It has a warm, cozy atmosphere with plenty of light, built-in closets, is 20.5 sqm in size and costs 736.-CHF. Additionally, there are 50.-CHF for our community fund, which we use to finance cleaning supplies and communal events, among other things. Who we are: Our group consists of 3 men and 3 women between the ages of 38 and 62. Our interests are very diverse, which always leads to exciting and enriching conversations. We live independently, but enjoy spending evenings together or spontaneous meetings for brunch or in the garden for barbecues. From time to time, we gladly open our house to guests, whether for a living room concert or a cozy Advent fire. You would live with us 😊: - Christine, she is 40 years old and has been living here for 8 years. She works as a team leader in garden maintenance at a foundation for work integration and in her free time she likes to be outdoors, is creative or beautifies the living room with flowers. - Robert, he is 47 years old and works as a social educator with young adults. Currently, he is converting an old fire truck into a camper, otherwise, he can be found in the garden as soon as it gets warmer. In the shared flat, he supports us with his organizational talent. - Marc, he is 38 years old, self-employed as a writer and journalist. His sayings have already been heard at Giaccobo and Müller. He loves circus, rides a motorcycle in the summer and snowboards in the winter. He likes to entertain us from time to time with magic tricks. - Claudia, she is 40 years old and a laboratory assistant. She likes to be active climbing, loves visiting our neighbor's cat and is currently writing her 1st book. She often redesigns the living room according to the season. - Martin, he is 63 years old and works together with his son in a solidarity-based agriculture and takes care of the plants in the Weltacker in Zollikofen. Through him, we always get to know new types of vegetables or can taste unknown things. - Varinia, she is 44, works in a residential group with disabled people and as a psychologist in a hospital. She loves everything that is beautiful and is responsible for making sure we find not only practical but also beautiful things in our kitchen cabinet. Have we piqued your interest?
