Room with garden access in a 4-person shared flat – Bern Altenberg
Hello! We are Lisa, Avery and Giuliano – all early to mid-30s, sporty and nature-loving – and are looking for a new female or male roommate for our spacious apartment (over 120 m²) with direct garden access, views of the Aare and the Bern city center.
With us, there are quiet evenings after work as well as spontaneous kitchen chats, cooking with music, game nights, barbecuing and wine evenings in the garden. Lisa is from Germany, Avery is from the USA, Giuliano is Swiss.

About us
Avery (F, 27) is from Alaska, USA and is studying sustainability at the University of Bern. She speaks English, but is hoping to pick up some German during her time in Bern! She loves to be in the mountains, skiing, hiking or biking, but also appreciates a night out or a cozy night in cooking dinner.

Giuliano (M, 35) - entrepreneur, loves sitting together for good conversations in the evening or can be found down at the Aare jogging or sunbathing. DIY projects and making music complement his free time.

Lisa (F, 32) - certified MTB guide, spends a lot of time in the mountains; loves bouldering, anything on two wheels and relaxed evenings.

The apartment
Location: Altenberg, Bern – 70 m to the Aare, large U-shaped garden with sun and shade spots, conservatory, fitness room & sauna in the house. Garden maintenance is shared within the shared flat.

What we are looking for

You appreciate an open, cheerful and respectful home where there is always something going on, but where you can also withdraw if you want peace. You are open to shared activities (without obligation), like dogs (we occasionally look after dogs of friends) and take your part in the kitchen, bathroom and garden. A green thumb is a plus.
Age: ideally 27-37
