Hello everyone, I am renting out my apartment in Zürich Oerlikon from **September to mid/late January**, as I will be completing an exchange semester abroad during this time. The apartment is being rented for the entire period to **one single person or a couple**. The apartment is officially a **3.5-room apartment**. During my absence, one private room remains locked, so that **2.5 rooms** are available exclusively. The apartment is partially furnished by the landlord and is therefore ready for immediate move-in. The bedroom is approx. **18 m²** in size and has a directly connected storage or dressing room. The bright living room offers plenty of space for living, working, or relaxing with around **25 m²**. A special highlight is that the apartment is the only one in the house with direct access to the communal garden. The location is ideal: The nearest bus stop is reachable in **1 minute on foot**. The ETH and UZH main buildings are reachable with public transport in around **30 minutes**, ETH Höngg in **15 minutes**. Milchbuck is only about **10 minutes by bike** or **25 minutes on foot** away. The house is exceptionally quiet and is mainly inhabited by **doctoral students (PhD) and postdocs**. Additionally, there are two small office rooms in the building. The washing machine is shared with only **three other parties**, so there are hardly any waiting times. For **CHF 1'800 per month**, the apartment offers an excellent price-performance ratio for Zürich Oerlikon and is ideally suited for people moving to Zürich -- whether it be for a scientific position, a PhD studies, a postdoc, or entering the workforce.
