Ittigen is excellently connected by public transport: S-Bahn and bus lines connect Ittigen and Worblaufen with the surrounding towns quickly and frequently. The travel time to Bern (main station) is a maximum of 15 minutes. The S-Bahn line Bern-Worb serves the stops "Ittigen" and "Papiermühle" in Ittigen every 15 minutes - during peak times in the morning and evening even every 7 1/2 minutes in both directions. Bus lines connect the stations "Ittigen" (Line 43) and "Papiermühle" (Line 40/41) with the northern part of the municipality (Kappelisacker). From the "Papiermühle" station, two bus connections (Line 40/41) also lead to Bern, with a direct connection to Bernmobil. All S-Bahn lines pass through the Worblaufen station.
