Bright room (10 m²) with beautiful oak parquet and morning sun on the 1st floor. All-inclusive rent CHF 770, EVERYTHING included: ancillary costs, electricity, heating, internet. Okay, we're not right in the center of Basel - but in return, you get what no city apartment can offer: around 90 m² of shared living space and 230 m² of sunny garden with seating and grill instead of a balcony - and you can reach Basel city center by tram in 15 minutes without changing trains. YOUR ROOM IS ALL YOURS: Clothes go into the shared walk-in closet (29 m of shelves!) - just two steps from your door. Books and folders in the library gallery right next door. You don't need a closet or shelf in the room: the full 10 m² belong to the bed, desk, and you. Your own furniture? Install it or store it disassembled in the house. Unfurnished, double bed available on request. FOR SHARED USE (approx. 90 m²): real living/dining room with 31 m², kitchen with dishwasher and steam cooker, shower/WC only for the 4 roommates (the landlord has his own bathroom), washing machine and tumble dryer, attic storage room. THE GARDEN (230 m²): almost fully sun-drenched - perfect for sun lounger and book in summer. Seating area for grilling, garden house with table, two fountains. Joint gardening is explicitly welcome (all tools available). For craftsmen: workbench with tools and machines - there are so many that you could almost build your own house with them. MOBILITY: Tram 11 (Surbaum stop) in 4 walking minutes - 15 minutes to Basel city center without changing trains. Coop and post office 5 walking minutes, swimming pool 5 bike minutes, International School 5 walking minutes, 100 m from the forest. Parking space available on request (CHF 100/month), and my car is available for shared use during the week by arrangement (you pay for petrol yourself). WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR: An open, reliable person - employed or studying, everyone is welcome - who has a desire for real shared flat life: sometimes cooking together, grilling in the garden in summer, but also respecting the peace and quiet of the others. Important: You should be dog-friendly, as we have a lovely Cocker Spaniel living with us. It would be nice to have someone who enjoys gardening or tinkering. We consider order in the kitchen and bathroom important. WHO WE ARE: The shared flat is being newly formed - you are one of the first four roommates and can help shape the communal life from the start! I (Michel, musician and drum teacher) live with a separate area and my own bathroom in the same house - relaxed, helpful, and mostly on tour at concerts on weekends. Also included: the aforementioned lovable Cocker Spaniel. And if you've always dreamed of playing the drums: There's a professional E-drum in the basement - as a long-time drum teacher, I'd be happy to give you a free lesson.
