In Chigny, in the heart of the vineyards and only 2 km from Morges, we share a unique living space composed of two neighboring houses: a contemporary house and an old press house, entirely renovated with care and attention to detail. By choosing this shared flat, you are not just renting a room. You benefit from all the common areas of the two houses, totaling nearly 500 m² of living space, including approximately 300 m² of shared spaces, in a quiet environment offering an exceptional view of Lake Geneva, the Alps, the Jura, the vineyards, and the village. Your private space We offer a private 40 m² bedroom, located on the ground floor of the old press house. In addition, you have free access to all the common areas of the two houses: • Two fully equipped kitchens • Several living rooms • A library • An office • A large courtyard • A vast garden • An outdoor area with a fire pit as well as a bread and pizza oven, perfect for sharing convivial meals throughout the year. • Numerous spaces suitable for both social interaction and tranquility Our philosophy We are currently 6 adults (from 34 to 70 years old) as well as 2 adolescents present part-time. Our life paths, professions, and interests are varied. We appreciate moments of sharing as much as individual independence. Evening meals are often an opportunity to come together; we cook in turns, according to everyone's wishes, availability, and occupations, without obligation. Thanks to the size of the premises, everyone can easily choose between conviviality and calm. We are looking for a person who appreciates this way of living, based on respect, trust, kindness, and simple communication.
