Room in a shared flat

We are a 5-person shared apartment (m31, m28, m27, w25, w24) that is looking for new flatmates due to the move-out of two roommates.

The rooms would be available either from 1.October or 1.November 2026 and this is a temporary living option with a fixed move-out date on 31.März 2027, as the house is unfortunately being demolished to make room for a new building.

Shared apartment life is quite relaxed for us and we meet spontaneously during the week or on the weekend for a beer on our terrace or in the garden. Arising tasks in the house or garden are distributed during occasional WG meetings. There are also 2 cats living in our household, which like to come by for cuddles. One of the two cats or possibly both will also move out in autumn 2026. Because of our cats, we unfortunately cannot take any more cats or dogs into our household.

The house is well-equipped and can be reached in 10 minutes on foot from Bahnhof Uster. By bike or bus, it is of course even faster ;-) In the immediate vicinity, there is also a gas station including a Migrolino, which is open daily until 23:45. Although we are not far from the center, the surroundings of the house are very quiet.

The house also features, among other things, a laundry room in the basement with a washing machine and tumbler, which is additionally equipped with a bathroom (WC and shower). Additionally, there is a parking space in front of the house and a garage, which is currently mainly used as a storage room and workshop and is shared with the veterinary practice next door.

The vacant room on the ground floor has an internet connection and is furnished. Parts of the furnishings can be kept for free if interested (e.g., couch/wardrobe) or possibly purchased (e.g., the bunk bed). The room is approx. 18m² in size and also has an internet connection and access to its own balcony.

The vacant room on the 1. OG has an internet connection and is equipped with a built-in wardrobe. Additionally, cupboards directly in front of the room can be used and there is also enough space in the house if additional storage space is needed. Without the wardrobe, the usable area amounts to approx. 12m². The room also has access to the balcony, which is shared with another room.
