Room in a shared flat

Hello together! Do you feel like real community life, plenty of space, and a sustainable housing project? In the Hobelwerk-Areal in Oberwinterthur, a spacious 8.5-room cluster apartment will become available, and I am looking for people who want to build a new large shared flat with me! **The project & the apartment:** * **Cluster living:** This means the perfect combination of privacy and community. You have your own room with an adjacent bathroom (bad) as a private retreat. In addition, we share a huge kitchen, a large living room, and a balcony. * **Size:** The apartment has a total of 7 rooms for residents (plus communal rooms) and offers space for at least 6 to 7 people. * **Costs:** The price is under 1000 CHF per month and room. Important: Since it is a cooperative apartment, cooperative shares must be deposited instead of a classic rent deposit. * **No purpose-shared flat:** The goal is a lively togetherness. We want to cook together, eat together, and share food, also through a vegetable subscription (Solawi / Solidarische Landwirtschaft). * **Who is welcome?** Singles, couples, and explicitly also families with children! We start with two or three people and can take in more people gradually. **Who I am:** I am Jonas, 38 years old, and I am looking for someone who ideally shapes the project from the beginning as a co-founder. I have studied environmental, energy, and international development cooperation. In my free time, I like to be outdoors in nature, do sports, play the hand organ, and speak about 10 languages. I look forward to great, open-minded people! **Our shared flat:** We want to be creative, set up and carry out exciting projects together. We are looking for togetherness, have an open-door policy, usually don't close our doors, and prefer to live together rather than side by side. We are "open-minded". :-) **Important framework conditions of the cooperative:** The Hobelwerk-Areal is based on a forward-looking concept. This means for us: * **Organization as an association:** The residents organize themselves independently as an association, which then becomes the official contractual partner of the cooperative. The association regulates room allocation, finances, and the admission of new people itself. * **Car-reduced living:** Own cars are only allowed in justified exceptional cases.
