Room in a shared flat

Hello! We are looking for a roommate (**indefinite**) for our 4-person shared apartment in Opfikon starting from **1. October 2026**. We live as a group of four in a single-family house that was extensively renovated a few years ago. Two roommates are moving out in the second half of the year, which is why we are looking for a new roommate to complement our WG. If we feel that it could be a good fit, we would be happy to invite you for a viewing. On the second floor, we are renting out a large room; you will have an entire floor to yourself. The room is around 36 square meters in size and has its own bathroom with a shower. The room has additional storage space and is rented unfurnished. The house 📍 Top location on the outskirts of Zürich * 2 minutes walking distance to the bus stop Opfikon, Grossacker, 5 minutes walking distance to the bus stop Opfikon, Neuwiesen * Migros, Coop and Denner right around the corner * Approx. 20 minutes to Zürich HB * Approx. 30 minutes to UZH and ETH Equipment * Modern, fully equipped kitchen with ceramic hob, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and plenty of storage space * We already bring most of the kitchen equipment with us – we are of course open to sensible additions. * Large garden with a fully equipped outdoor seating area. * Additional guest bathroom in the living area. * Washing machine and tumble dryer in a private laundry room * Cellar with pantry, freezer and further storage space * Pleasantly quiet thanks to the triple-glazed windows despite the proximity to the airport. Air conditioning will be provided. * The living area is already fully furnished * If needed: Free parking space, otherwise plenty of space to store bicycles or other material. About us: We are **Simon (30)** and **Michael (29)** and study at the Universität Zürich and HSG respectively. We both come from the area and have lived together in the WG for four years. It is important to us that our WG is a place where everyone feels comfortable. We value uncomplicated interaction with one another, mutual respect and sufficient personal space. **Personal responsibility, consideration, openness and a certain level of order** form the basis for us for pleasant coexistence.
