We are expressly looking for a successor tenant from 1 October 2026 (date is non-negotiable, or rather, handover can take place later, but the rent is due starting from 1 October 2026). According to the rental agreement, this is a 1-person apartment, i.e., the apartment is expressly not suitable for two or more people.

The apartment impresses with:

The location at Rathausgasse is unbeatable. The apartment is sunny and the surroundings are pleasantly quiet. Directly in front of the door is a VOI supermarket, so daily supplies are no problem. The Zytglogge stop (bus and tram) is reachable in just 4 minutes on foot, Bern station in around 10 minutes. A pharmacy (Volz) is also reachable in 2 minutes on foot. Culturally, the Musikschule Konservatorium Bern enriches the immediate neighborhood – only 1 minute away.

The rent is approx. 850.-, including electricity/water etc. This means no additional monthly costs arise (except, of course, possibly Serafe). There is no elevator.

Important:
Since we have no possibility of moving the bed (140cm wide), it will be sold for 260.-. It is exactly the bed size that just barely fits there. The bed is used but in good condition. Also, a small shelf/nightstand for 40.- (approx. 15cm wide and still fits next to the bed), which was bought new a few months ago. Both must be taken over.

It is logistically almost impossible for us to offer a viewing appointment, as we are only in Bern very sporadically. However, the apartment is in good condition (see pictures).

There are no hidden defects known to us, in particular no mold, defective appliances, etc. We cannot provide a guarantee for this, as we are only tenants ourselves and the landlord is responsible for rental defects.

You will be proposed to the landlord as a rental successor.
Should the apartment not go to you for any reason (for example, entries in the debt enforcement register), we cannot take responsibility for this.
