Room in a shared flat

Hi everyone! I am Julien (m, 32) and have been living in this apartment for six years. My roommate is moving back to his home country after three years together – that's why I am looking for someone who wants to feel just as at home here as I do.
What awaits you
Your own area comprises around 20 m²: a bedroom with a workspace and a two-meter wide wardrobe, as well as your own bathroom with a bathtub. So you have enough space for yourself and can retreat at any time.
In addition, there are around 50 m² of shared living space: a cozy living room with a large sofa and record player, two balconies, and a kitchen that lacks very little. I enjoy cooking and have meanwhile acquired so many kitchen gadgets that my friends regularly make fun of them. Of course, you are welcome to join in the laughter and use everything ;)
The washing machine and tumbler are in my bathroom and are also for shared use.
Around the apartment

• Roof terrace with pool and two small courtyards
• A park directly in front of the door, Coop and Aldi right nearby
• Bahnhof Schlieren in about three minutes' walking distance
• The Limmat for swimming, jogging, or cycling in about five minutes' walking distance
• Three bicycle rooms and disposal for organic waste, household waste, and cardboard directly at the house

I also have a car with an underground parking space. If you occasionally need a car, you are welcome to borrow it by arrangement.
A little about me and living together
I work in consulting, am mostly in the office three days a week, and work from home on the other days. I am sociable, enjoy having friends over, and like it when the apartment is a place where people enjoy coming together.
If you feel like it, you are very welcome to join for shared meals or an evening with friends. My previous roommate was sometimes part of it, sometimes preferred to be alone – very uncomplicated. Over time, shared friendships also developed. I would wish for such a relaxed coexistence again: enjoying cooking, eating, or chatting together, but also naturally closing the door and having time for oneself.
My partner lives in South Africa and will live with me from time to time, presumably from mid-December to mid-February. Then he will be in South Africa again for 3-4 months. I myself am also there occasionally for a few weeks, or often for a weekend in the mountains or with friends.
What is important to me at home
I wish for an open, respectful interaction where we can say what we need or if something bothers us. We don't have to have the same habits, but we should be considerate of each other and be able to make agreements.
I am relaxed about tidiness as long as the shared rooms remain clean and cozy. So, it's okay if something is left out after cooking – but by the evening, I would like the kitchen and living area to be tidied up again. I am happy to take care of the plants and small household items like refilling dish soap; we share the responsibility for our shared home.
