At Am Steinengraben 77 in Basel, we are renting a large, luxuriously renovated 3½-room apartment for the highest requirements. The living area is 90m². In addition to the modern, fully equipped kitchen, the apartment features a bathroom equipped with a glass-walled shower with barrier-free access as well as a large bathtub. A sunny balcony facing south is available. A private washing machine and dryer are also available in the apartment. Parquet floors are laid in the rooms, and high-quality stone slabs are laid in the foyer, kitchen, and bathroom.

The property is centrally located; the lively Steinenvorstadt with all its culinary or entertainment offerings is at your feet and can be reached on foot in two minutes, as are the shopping facilities there. The entire Greater Basel city center is easily and quickly accessible on foot. The SBB station as well as the Badischer Bahnhof are connected via a bus connection without the need to change.

The Steinengraben is located in the area of the historic suburbs, which directly and in a ring shape adjoins the Old Town of Grossbasel. The outer boundary corresponds to the city wall that was renewed and expanded after the great earthquake of 1356. This outer wall also included the "suburbs" that once lay in front of the enclosure built around the year 1200. When Basel threatened to burst at the seams again in the middle of the 19th century, this last fortification was also demolished. Basel thereby transformed into an "open", expanding city.
