I am looking for someone to take my place in the house.
Due to a relocation, I am leaving the penthouse in which I live in Muralto, at Via Sciaroni 12, and I am looking for a successor starting from 1 January 2027. Fourth and top floor, elevator, elegant building among period villas, palms, and gardens. Above you, only the roof.
The first thing you see when entering the living room is not the furniture, it is the bell tower. Behind it, the lake. Behind that, the mountains of Gambarogno which turn white at the top in winter. It is not a view from a retouched postcard: it is the one you find in the photos, and you find it every morning.
The main floor. A long and bright living room in parquet, with a French door providing access to the terrace. Separate kitchen, complete with oven, glass-ceramic hob, dishwasher, and column refrigerator. Bedroom also with direct access to the terrace. Master bathroom with double sink, separate bathtub and shower.
The terrace. It is the reason why I took this house. Large, it is covered by a sliding awning and overlooks the lake. In summer you dine there, in winter you soak up the midday sun. Anyone living in an apartment with a balcony for two chairs will immediately understand the difference.
The upper floor. You go up via a wooden spiral staircase and arrive in a spacious and bright attic, with skylights and parquet, where the light enters from above. Here there is a second bathroom with a shower and your own laundry room: no shifts in the cellar, no calendar hanging on the communal washing machine. The space is suitable for whatever you need: study, guest room or room for kids, atelier, gym, library. On paper it is 3½ rooms; in everyday life, you live in more.
The rest. Covered communal garage with a very large space, where today two cars and two motorcycles fit. Dry and spacious cellar. Well-kept communal garden. Pets allowed.
The costs. Rent CHF 1'500., service charge advance CHF 200., garage CHF 100.. In total CHF 1'800. per month for 129 m², a penthouse, a terrace overlooking the lake, and a garage where two cars fit. Make your own comparison with what is found around.
Available from 1 January 2027. The new contract is concluded directly with the property, which will evaluate the application: have a recent extract from the debt enforcement register and a certificate of income ready, so that everything can be done quickly.
