Room in a shared flat

After 7 years in the best shared flat in the world, the time has come for me to move out. I will be moving into my new room as of 1 October. If you would like to move in earlier, you can also move in as early as September. If you are interested, write something about yourself, your interests, and what is important to you in a shared flat. The room is approx. 30 m2 in size and is located on the 2nd floor of our heritage-protected house, which belongs to the old Mülenenareal in Richterswil. It offers plenty of storage space with two large built-in wardrobes and a small private bathroom with a washbasin, shower, and small soaking bathtub, which will belong only to you. Furthermore, it impresses with the beautiful view of Lake Zurich. You would share a spacious kitchen, the living and dining room, three WCs, laundry room, and a large hobby room with us. The cleaning of all common rooms by a cleaning service is included in the rent. In addition to cooking ingredients and utensils that you share with us, you will receive space in the refrigerators, in the freezer, and in our pantry cupboards to accommodate your personal groceries. Whether student or already with one foot in professional life, it makes no difference. You are sociable and enjoy contributing to the shared flat life occasionally. You are also considerate and maintain a certain degree of order and cleanliness. If you have a green thumb, we are of course happy about your participation in the garden. Other talents, such as a penchant for cooking, manual dexterity, creativity, musical abilities, or whatever else you can think of, are also welcome. We are 4 women and 4 men, between 25 and 34, some studying and some working (many with a focus on environment, sustainability, and biotech, universities: ZHAW and UZH). We are open-minded, maintain an active exchange, and are mostly up for fun. We cook together every now and then, discuss over tea and coffee, sometimes study together or next to each other, host movie nights with our projector, and enjoy a swim in the lake in summer. We maintain a small garden in front of the house and enjoy spending time in our outdoor lounge with a fire pit. Nevertheless, everyone also leads their own daily life, and if one wants peace and quiet sometimes, this is respected and one can withdraw well.
