Room in a shared flat

Hoi :) In our shared flat, a room will become available as of October 2026 and we are looking for a cute flatmate who wants to create and share a cozy home with us! **About the apartment:** * 4.5 rooms (cozy living room for a relaxing evening or movie nights, kitchen with dining table, bathroom with bathtub) * Sweet balcony * Roof terrace with a view of the Üetliberg * Super central location * Top public transport connections: 2min walk to Bahnhof Giesshübel (3min ride to HB with S4) and 2min to Sihlcity Nord (tram lines 5, 13 and 17 as well as bus lines 72 and 89) * Lake reachable in 9min by bicycle * Many nearby shopping facilities (Sihlcity, Coop, Migros, Brunau etc.) * Common rooms are fully furnished and equipped (of course also with many beloved plants and great posters) * Laundry room with washing machine and tumbler (uncomplicated washing without a fixed schedule) * Cellar and attic compartments for additional storage space **About the room:** * Approx. 15m² with parquet flooring * Window facing the courtyard * Unfurnished **About us:** We live in a shared flat because we value community, enjoy spending time together and being there for one another (not a Zweck-WG). We are Carla (she/her, 31 years old, special education teacher) and Serafino (he/him, 29 years old, IT). We have diverse interests and love to shape our free time accordingly. When we are not out on the street, we enjoy conversations at home, cooking together or movie nights. Among ourselves, we value open communication as well as humor. Carla often goes dancing, does a lot with friends and enjoys cultural events. If she is not to be found there, she might be at a demo, at a queer-feminist party or in the summer at the Frauenbadi with a book. Serafino, originally from Milano, Italy, moved to Zurich last April after a year in Lugano. He speaks Italian and English and is currently learning German. He is still getting to know Zurich and finding his space here. He moves around the city by bike, always has a camera with him (usually with film) and is often drawn to diy things. He spends a lot of time at home doing home office working as a software engineer, practicing piano and progressing on side projects. He would define himself as an introvert but is always up for a chat and getting to know new people. **We look forward to:** A warm and independent person (preferably FINTA*), around our age, who enjoys the communal life of a shared flat and wants to actively contribute.
