Room in a shared flat

We are looking for a new flatmate to join our shared apartment in Affoltern starting 15.09.2026 (with the option for an early September move-in by arrangement). **The Location** The flat is situated right next to the Hönggerberg forest, perfect for running or evening walks, and just a 10-minute bike ride from Katzensee. Supermarkets are within short walking distance, and public transport connections are super convenient: ETH Hönggerberg: ~5 minutes by bus (the stop is a 2-minute walk away) or 5–10 minutes by bike. Around Zurich: Direct buses to Oerlikon (total 15 mins), the line 32 to Langstrasse every 10 mins (total 22 mins), and an 8-minute walk to the train station with direct trains to Zurich Main Station / HB (total 25 mins). **The Apartment & Your Room** The apartment has a fully equipped kitchen, a large living area with a couch and a nice view of the garden, a balcony, private basement storage, and shared laundry facilities downstairs (washing machine and drying room). Room: 12.5m², furnished. Rent: 798.5 CHF / month (all utilities included). Furniture: Existing furniture takeover for 100 CHF. **Flat Life** You will be living with Chia-Yin (28) and Nils (28), both second-year PhD students at ETH Zurich. We keep a relaxed, well-organized home with a cleaning schedule and a shared expense list. While we’re both fairly busy, we value a kind, clean, and comfortable atmosphere where everyone can recharge. We enjoy the occasional flat dinner together, and in our free time, we like staying active, whether that’s hiking, running, cycling, or cooking up something good. It’s definitely a plus if you share some of these interests! **Who We’re Looking For** A Master’s student, PhD candidate, or working professional who enjoys a friendly, respectful home.
